Antonio Boccardo

Antonio Boccardo obtained his licenciatura in Hispanic and English Philology from the University of Salento (Italy) in 2011 with the thesis El teatro de Francisco de Leiva Ramírez de Arellano. In 2012 he obtained his licenciatura in Human Sciences from ISUFI (an institution of education organised along the lines of the Scuola Normale of Pisa) with the thesis Lope de Vega e la storia: “La corona merecida”.

By means of the European grant Leonardo in April 2012, he joins the project coordinated by Teresa Ferrer Valls CATCOM, Las comedias y sus representantes. Base de datos de las comedias mencionadas en la documentación teatral (1540-1700).

He is currently an Italian lecturer in the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in Salamanca, by means of a grant of the Italian Ministry of Education.

His research interests lie above all in the Spanish Golden Age Theatre, as well as the poetry of the generations of the 20th century.
