Dolores Noguera Guirao

Dolores Noguera is profesora titular at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Doctor in Hispanic Philology by the same university.

Since 1995 she is a member of the DICAT group directed by Teresa Ferrer. As a researcher of this group, she is co-author of the Diccionario biográfico de actores del teatro clásico español. DICAT (2008) and is currently working on the projects CATCOM. Las comedias y sus representantes. Base de datos de las comedias mencionadas en la documentación teatral (1540-1700) and Patrimonio teatral clásico español: textos e instrumentos de investigación, coordinated by Joan Oleza within the Consolider-Ingenio 2010 programme, both of which are funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación. Since 2000 she is a collaborator with the research group ArteLope, directed by Joan Oleza Simó, and its project Base de datos, argumentos y textos del teatro clásico español. She has directed the project El caudal literario en el Archivo Histórico de Protocolos de Madrid and has collaborated with the project Manuscritos poéticos de la Biblioteca Nacional de España directed by Pablo Jauralde Pou.

Her research focuses on Spanish Golden Age theatre in its different manifestations and the reconstruction of primary sources in archives and libraries. She has published several studies on the performance of sacramental plays in Madrid, on the orality of theatre, on the works of playwrights such as Tirso de Molina, Álvaro Cubillo, and Calderón, and on unpublished manuscripts from the Biblioteca Nacional de España. She has collaborated with the theatrical company Antiqua escena and in 2008 she edited Calderón's sacramental play El lirio y la azucena for its performance.
